The European Data Centre for Work and Welfare (EDACwowe) provides researchers with improved access to comparative European data sources.
The web site provides you with direct links to standardized information on more than 500 data sources on work and welfare and closely related fields, as well as sources containing EU comparative and national data, and quantitative as well as qualitative data.
The Data Centre is funded under the EU Framework 6 Network of Excellence "Reconciling Work and Welfare in Europe" (RECWOWE)(http://www.recwowe.eu). The University of Manchester is a partner in this network of excellence; the Manchester team is led by Professor Colette Fagan and includes Mark Smith (now at the Management School, Grenoble), Helen Norman, Clare Sutherland and Pierre Walthery.
