The Health Methodology Research Group comprises:
BioHealth Informatics [Northwest Institute for BioHealth Informatics (NIBHI)] :
A key methodological focus is the 'e-Lab', which is a secure environment for aggregating, anonymising and analysing health-related data for developing health services and enabling scientific research.
Develops, evaluates and implements new statistical methodology relevant to clinical, epidemiological and health research.
The National Drug Evidence Centre (NDEC) carries out epidemiological, evaluative and policy related research in the field of drug misuse, within the areas of health and criminal justice.
Develops economic methods and applies them to the production of health, illness and recovery in populations and the consumption of health care services.
